The Space Shuttle Endeavour made a low altitude pass over NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans East atop its 747 carrier on September 19, 2012. It was on its way to its final stop in Los Angeles. Doug had retired from Lockheed Martin after 31 years at Michoud working as a Facilities Engineer on the Space Shuttle External Tank Program
