The ice storm started in the wee hours of the Ides of February, 2021. The Foggs awoke to an icy wonderland. Doug took these photos of and around the house. Meanwhile, limbs were falling off nearby trees, with some of them bouncing off the roof of the house. The river birch by the kitchen window lost a bunch of them. As this is posted around noon of February 15, 2021, the forecast keeps the temprerature below freezing all day and into tomorrow. We'll cross our fingers and hope no water pipes freeze and burst.
