Rose Fogg is a Silver-Certified United States Bowling Congress Coach who offers lessons to bowlers of all ages in the Slidell, Louisiana area.  Like any other sport, bowling requires sound fundamentals. Often, the best way to learn them is through one-on-one interaction with a real live coach. Youngsters new to the sport can especially benefit from professional instruction.
If you live in or near the Slidell area, Rose will be glad to provide inexpensive professional bowling instruction for you or your child. Contact rosefogg@bellsouth.net.

Rose's Bowling Lagniappe

In the New Orleans area, customers have come to expect lagniappe, a little something extra at no charge.  So here's Rose's bowling lagniappe:
  • The 4-step approach is best for beginners because everything starts moving at the same time. Push away with the ball as you take your first step.

  • When you are on the approach, the starting point for your ball should be on your right for right handers or left for left handers. This will help align your arm swing and make your swing more accurate.

  • Follow through, follow through, follow through. As you complete your arm swing, your hand should be in the handshake position with fingers pointed to the ceiling and thumb pointed behind you, just past your ear.
